Happiness is a playful puppie

 We're going to stay where we're at until the end of the month.  Have a few places we want to look at tomorrow and the weekend.

 Stopped outside of Boise for a few days then up the 84 to Hermiston for a few days.  Went to the Pendleton Mills factory in Pendleton.  I remember when that brand was good clothing at a reasonable price mad in the USA.  No more.  Still good quality but very expensive and every label I looked at was made in china or costa rica.  Now at Mt Hood, which is gorgeous and still showing fall colors.  Leaving tomorrow for a golf course with a RV park in Chehalis Washington and hope to stay there long term and look for what's available between Vancouver and Olympia.  The market predictions for housing still look bullish so I don't think we'll get that correction we were hoping for.  Maybe the winter selling season will get us a seller desperate to get out.  We'll see.  Bailey the puppy is getting use to her new home and is being a puppy:  Running around and biting everything, glad he has plenty of chew toys.

Almost out of Idaho

 Got out of Twin Falls and made it into Boise.  Tough driving the wind was blowing hard on the prairie and the RV is just a big sail.  Staying on the banks of the Snake River outside of Boise.  Will stay two nights and then into Oregon.  Bailey, the new member of the family is adapting well and being a puppy.  Went from one side to the other in Southern Idaho.  Mostly prairie, which is not what we are looking for in a home.  But glad we came and saw everything.

Shoshone falls in twin falls.  Beautiful but looking at old pictures at the park, the falls used to cascade across the rock face.  More like Niagara.  Don't know if it is a seasonal thing or whether the water is getting diverted.

 We get the puppy tomorrow, big day.  Just been hanging around and exploring the area.  Fall temperatures have arrived.  They predict snow for this area on Tuesday.  It will probably snow at night and with highs in the 40's won't stay long.  Sunday we're off to Twin Falls.  Tuesday we'll go for outside Boise.  Elizabeth connected with a third cousin that lives in Idaho, we might meet tomorrow.

Went for a hike to a hilltop near the campground with the camp host.  

 

Into Idaho

Putting Utah behind us but the last city we visited was the best. Logan would be our choice if we had to live in Utah. The old section of town reminded me of Claremont and with the fall colors it was beautiful. Elizabeth couldn't hold back any longer so she bought a Utah Yorkie. We can't pick up until the 9th, so we are staying at Cub creek resort outside of Preston Idaho until the 10th. Fall has arrived here and it is stunning. Pics to follow.
